He sported the Flugzeugführer- und Beobachterabzeichen and DRL Sportabzeichen medals in his uniform, along with medal bar Dienstauszeichnung der Luftwaffe and Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1. Oktober 1938 mit Spange Prager Burg.
