Die Deutsche Wochenschau is the title of the unified newsreel series released in the cinemas of Nazi Germany from June 1940 until the end of World War II, with the final edition issued on 22 March 1945. The co-ordinated newsreel production was set up as a vital instrument for the mass distribution of Nazi propaganda at war.

Berlin commemorated the movement's fallen soldiers of November 9, 1923 in a state ceremony. Wreath-laying ceremony at Fehrbelliner Platz. Delegation of a SA with a Chief of Staff Viktor Lutze, laying wreath at Horst Wessel's grave in Berlin's Nikolai Cemetery.

In Munich, the wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial at the Feldherrnhalle initiated the November 9th celebrations. Gaulleiter Paul Giesler and Field Marshal Wilhelm Keitel lay wreaths at the memorial. Scene show the "Eternal Guard." The Führer's wreaths adorn the sarcophagi of the movement's first martyrs.
03:40 - Defensive front Norway/Atlantic Wall, Norway, 1942.
Scenes show a German coastal fortifications on the Norwegian coast. Infantry takes up their positions during an alert exercise. An infantry company occupies prepared positions stretching along the entire coast. The coast is covered in smoke. Artificial fog is placed over moored battleship "Tirpitz" in a fjord. Close and long-range reconnaissance aircraft monitor the airspace up to the edge of the perpetual ice. The entire bay and fjord-rich coast is dotted with countless guns of all calibers heavy bunkers, and special weapons. Heavy and light units of German navy monitor the vast sea surrounding Norway.
08:30 - Finnish front, Karelia, Finland/Soviet Union, 1942.
Finnish soldiers transporting logs to build a wooden houses for the families of fallen comrades in need. A finishing general presents the title deeds to the new owners in the name of the troops.
10:24 - Leningrad area, northern sector of the Eastern Front, Soviet Union, 1942.
The island fortress of Kronstadt in the Bay of Leningrad is under heavy artillery fire. These photographs were taken at a distance of 15 km with a telephoto lens. The Soviet battleship "Marat" returns fire. German and Croatian fighter units are attacking the defenses of Leningrad. The port and industrial area of Leningrad are under fire.
13:34 - The Battle of Stalingrad, Soviet Union, 1942.
Italian infantry repulses a Soviet attack, which repeatedly attempts to break through our front on the Don, and cut off the supply routes to Stalingrad. Scene show view on destroyed city of Stalingrad. The former Volga metropolis, has become a dead city. Everywhere in the streets are captured bunkers and barricades, destroyed gun emplacements and tanks. Scene shows a transport train with half-finished Soviet T-34/76 tanks. The destroyed workshops of the "Felix Dzerzhinsky" tractor factory.
16:40 - German troops march into Vichy France, Mediterranean coast, France, 1942.
In the early hours of November 11th, German troops cross the French-German demarcation line. By order of the Führer, German motorized units begin their march through unoccupied France to the Mediterranean coast. French residents observe the German vehicles. German troops on the Toulouse-Carcassonne road. German tanks, armoured vehicles and infantry march through Narbonne, 12 km from the Mediterranean coast. Tank units on the road to Marseille. German Panzer III tanks drive through the roads of Marseille. Scene show the Arc de Triomphe in Marseille.
