Die Deutsche Wochenschau is the title of the unified newsreel series released in the cinemas of Nazi Germany from June 1940 until the end of World War II, with the final edition issued on 22 March 1945. The co-ordinated newsreel production was set up as a vital instrument for the mass distribution of Nazi propaganda at war.

00:51 - Supplies for the North Africa Front, Africa/Italy, 1942.
In an Italian port freighters are being loaded with a supplies for German troops in North Africa, including a diesel locomotive and freight cars. Units of the German and Italian navies secure the transporters against enemy attacks in the Mediterranean. British fighter planes attack the convoy with bombs and onboard weapons. Scene shows an Italian seaplane (CANT Z.501 Gabbiano). Special vehicles bring the ship's cargo ashore. The diesel locomotive is transported directly to the starting station of the coastal railway. Field Marshal Erwin Rommel and Field Marshal Albert Kesselring at a briefing. A fighter ace Captain Marseille reports to the marshal. Nighttime takeoff of German fighter squadrons (Ju 88) against Alexandria.
06:27 - A Japanese submarine cruiser arrive in the German submarine base, Atlantic Coast/France, 1942.
Japanese Type B1 (I-15-class) submarine arrive in the German Atlantic submarine base, in course of "Yanagi Mission". Yanagi Missions were a series of submarine voyages undertaken by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during the Second World War, to exchange technology, skills and materials with Japan's Axis partners, principally Nazi Germany. The Commanding Admiral in France, Admiral Schultze, and the Commander of the Submarine Forces, Admiral Dönitz, board the ship with the Japanese naval attaché for the welcoming ceremony. Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine, Grand Admiral Raeder receive a reaport from the Japanese commander. The Japanese submariners are getting rest together with a German sailors.
09:36 - The "U-130" and "U-108" submarines return from a combat mission, Lorient, France, 1942.
The boat of Corvette Captain Kals enters the port in Lorient. Corvette Captain Kals is awarded the Knight's Cross. Lieutenant Commander Klaus Scholtz enters the port with his submarine "U-108." Corvette Captain Scholtz received the Oak Leaves to the Knight's Cross.
10:06 - Air raid on Murmansk, Soviet Union, 1942.
Ju-87 dive bombers are being resupplied with ammunition before the combat mission at a German airfield on the Arctic coast. Machine gun ammunition is being strapped onto belts. Heavy fighter aircrafts (Me-110) are taking over the protection of the Stuka formation. Port facilities of Murmansk are being bombed. Air battle with a Soviet fighter.
12:10 - The Battle of Stalingrad, Soviet Union, 1942.
A Focke-Wulf FW-189 reconnaissance aircraft takes off to reconnoiter the Stalingrad area. The observer determines the exact location of enemy resistance pockets. The reconnaissance report is immediately sent to the sector's artillery commander. German troops are fighting their way toward the city from all sides. A lone Soviet T-34 tank is destroyed. Tank battle on the outskirts of Stalingrad. Tank units advance past ruined houses and civilians. German infantry in the outskirts of Stalingrad.
15:57 - Caucasus front, Elbrus Mountains, Caucasus, Soviet Union, 1942.
A camp of German mountain troops at the foot of the Elbrus Mountains. A pack animal column with the supplies is ascending the glacier. A detachment of German mountain artillery takes up position at high altitude. A machine gun nest below the Elbrus peak at an altitude of 4,000 meters. German mountain infantry are repelling the attacking Soviets.
